GSF Corporate Vice President and Chief Information Officer Carol Fawcett delivered a keynote address during the Southern California CIO Virtual Executive Summit on November 18. During the 30-minute presentation, themed “Drive the Business Forward with Data at the Core,” Carol shared thought leadership about today’s enterprises having access to endless amounts of data and how CIOs must continually find true meaning and value in the data.
“Leaders are exploring ways to advance data and analytics programs to provide accurate, real-time data,” said Carol. “As CIOs guide data ownership and standardization, their enterprise data strategy must align with desired business outcomes to bring greater value and insights.”
From emerging technologies like blockchain to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementations, Carol spoke about leveraging data analytics initiatives throughout the GSF family of companies. Sponsored by software supplier ADP and moderated by the company’s Vice Present, Product Development, Mark Chamberlain, the closing session capped off a full-day Summit agenda focused on tackling top business challenges through peer-driven content and discussions.
