Food Logistics Recognizes GSF Leaders as Rock Stars of the Supply Chain Honorees

February 14, 2023

This week, two GSF leaders earned 2023 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain Awards from Food Logistics, the only publication exclusively dedicated to covering the movement of products through the global cold food supply chain. Joining four past GSF honorees, this year’s influential individuals include GSF’s Dawn Warner, Director, Inventory Management, Liquid Products North America, and Trisha McRoberts, Group Vice President, Strategic Sourcing.

“Not all rock stars are famous musicians,” says Marina Mayer, Editor-in-Chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “There are several rock stars right here in the cold chain, promoting workforce development, solving supply chain disruptions, mitigating risks, and helping to heal the supply chain.”

Both Dawn and Trisha continue to advance the cold food supply chain with key initiatives and sustainable practices that support customers and the industry overall. To highlight just a few examples of why Food Logistics selected these GSF leaders, Trisha contributed her supply chain thought leadership, including speaking at the Association for Dressings & Sauce’s Annual Business Forum, where she provided insight into digital supply chain advancements. Last year, GSF recognized Dawn with the company’s highest individual honor, the Stellar Award, for her successful efforts to stabilize the Conyers Liquid Products facility’s supply chain systems and processes and create standard inventory management reporting.

In 2022, GSF’s Guilda Javaheri, Chief Technology Officer; Mariana Manole, Group Vice President, Quality, Food Safety, and Regulatory Affairs; and Timothy Bates, Corporate Quality Systems Director, Logistics, received Rock Stars of the Supply Chain Awards. The year prior, Ryan Hammer, Corporate Senior Vice President and President, Quality Custom Distribution, earned recognition for his achievements, hard work, and vision that have helped shape the global cold food supply chain. This year’s honorees will be profiled in Food Logistics’ January/February 2023 print issue, in addition to this online article with the full honorees list.
