This month’s Woman in the Warehouse, Chunxia Xu, a production team leader at GSF Fresh! in Guangzhou, China, started as a production worker eight years ago. She worked diligently to learn more about the production process and earned a promotion to team leader thereafter.
In her current role, Chunxia pre-plans and coordinates the daily tasks for her team and ensures orderliness in each process of production. She actively monitors product quality and progress throughout the day to guide the team in fulfilling the daily plan.
“Today’s work should never be left over ’till tomorrow,” Chunxia explains.
Before joining the GSF Fresh! team, Chunxia worked in a Taiwanese enterprise as a production worker. Supporting her professional growth, she says GSF provided her with helpful management trainings to equip her with the tools needed to lead her team.
For Chunxia, the best part of her job is the people! She says her team is united, and she appreciates how much the management team cares for their associates. Plus, the annual facility family outing is one of Chunxia’s favorite events, noting that events like these inspire her passion for the work she does.
