This month’s Woman in the Warehouse, Yanli Lv, has been a reliable and diligent employee of GSF KanPak in Xiantao, China for nearly a decade. Through hard work and dedication, she’s made an impression on the company’s leadership. Yanli advanced from an associate in the dairy products facility’s hard ice cream production line in 2011 to line production leader of the hard ice cream workshop today.
Over the years, Yanli has taken every opportunity to learn from her colleagues and manager. She’s developed strong skills and a deep understanding of her work, which has not gone unnoticed.
When the company launched its ice cream cake production in May 2019, its leaders selected Yanli to head up the team’s study of ice cream making in Shanghai. By June, she successfully mastered the whole operation process. With Yanli’s work ethic and expertise, the two-to-three-month learning process only took 20 days. Even through difficult personal challenges, including her son’s leukemia diagnosis in 2019, Yanli maintains an extraordinary attitude.
“It makes me realize that you have more potential than you imagine, you are stronger than you think, and you are more powerful than you know,” she says.
